Skidmore’s Laudatory piece of George III, 1797, rev. a member of the british senate, edge plain, 7.13g/11h (DH 941a; BHM 420); Skidmore’s Duke of York Halfpenny, 1797, rev. dy cypher, a member of the brith. senate, 12.91g/6h (DH 994); Skidmore’s Farthings (3), bust of George II left, revs. may a flowing trade, etc, 4.85g/6h (DH 1127; BHM 415), stork on cornucopia, 4.93g/6h (DH 1128), anchor and cable, edge grained, 3.88g/6h (DH 1129); uncertain manufacturer, Duke of York Halfpenny, 9.76g/11h (DH 984) [6]. Very fine and better, all except last rare, especially DH 1129, but this with reverse off-centre (£200-300)
