£420

High Holborn, John Skidmore, Proof Halfpenny, 1795, in silver, register stove, rev. two men at a forge, edge grained, 11.20g/6h (DH 480). Extremely fine, a little unevenly toned, of the highest rarity; perhaps only one other specimen available to commerce (£400-600)
