Percy Bowlzer was born in and enlisted at Beeston, Nottinghamshire. Serving initially with the Notts and Derby Regiment and then with the 9th Essex Regiment, he was killed in action, France / Flanders, 18 September 1918. He was buried in the Epehy Wood Farm Cemetery, Epehy, Somme, France.
