Charles Herrington was born in Dunsfold, Surrey and enlisted at Guildford, Surrey. Serving as a Private with the 2nd Battalion The Queen’s Regiment, he was killed in action, France / Flanders, 1 July 1916. His name is listed on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
