Francis Mullinder was born in and enlisted at Gateshead. Serving as a Private with the 1/5th Battalion Durham Light Infantry he was killed in action, France / Flanders, 10 April 1918, aged 18 years. His name is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial, Comines-Warneton, Hainaut, Belgium.

Vincent Mullinder enlisted at Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Serving as a Sergeant with the 19th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers he was killed in action, France / Flanders, 20 March 1918. His name is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial, Somme, France.
