M.S.M. awarded 5 April 1907,with £10 Annuity. He is entitled to medals for the Crimean War and the Indian Mutiny, Central India, as a Sergeant with the 95th Foot, also earning his L.S. & G.C. with the 11th Foot in 1870. He died on 24 October 1916.
