Military Medal, G.V.R. (14287 Pte. T. Brislen, 4/L’pool. R.); together with memorial plaque (Thomas Brislen) M.M. polished and with edge bruising, plaque with hole drilled at either side, about nearly very fine (2) £180-220

M.M. London Gazette 21 October 1916.

Thomas Brislen was born in Liverpool and lived at Everton. He went to France with the original contingent of the 4th Battalion, Liverpool Regiment on 4 March 1915, and was killed in action in France and Flanders on 11 April 1918. He is buried at Lapugnoy Military Cemetery, France. (A photograph of recipient appears in the
