Captain John Bawtree Hawkins was Adjutant of the 18th Division Base Depot at Etaples. Admitted to the Liverpool Manchester Hospital at Etaples on 23 August 1916 suffering from Bronco Pneumonia, he died on 30 August. Sold with 14 sheets of copied service papers and other research.
