Lieutenant Charles Albert John Ward served as a Lieutenant and Adjutant with Brabant’s Horse during the Boer War. He was commissioned into tthe Indian Army Reserve of Officers on 30 March 1915 and promoted Lieutenant on 30 March 1916. He died on 15 December 1918. His name is commemorated on the Jerusalem Memorial and the Cheltenham War Memorial. Sold with some copied research details.
