Donald MacPherson was born near Edinburgh and enlisted into the Highland Light Infantry in 1893. He served with the regiment in Crete, 31 July-26 December 1898 and South Africa, 23 October 1899-17 September 1902. Transferring to the Army Reserve in 1903, he was discharged in 1905. Clasps confirmed. Sold with copied service papers.
