George IV (1820-1830), A superb and extremely rare dress set of enamelled coins, comprising; as centre piece, 1821 Crown, rev. six colours, with plain enamelled suspender; Halfcrown, 1824, rev. six colours; Groats (2), both 1846, revs. five colours, in the form of drop ear-rings; a neck chain, formed of a George III Crown, George IV Halfcrowns (2), Victoria Godless Florins (2), Gothic Florins (2), George IV Shillings (2), George III Sixpences (2), all revs. in various colours, these linked by small silver enamelled chains [Lot]. Most unusual, rare and attractive; housed in Victorian maroon fitted leather case (£800-1,000)
