Capture of Portobello, 1739, a copper medal, unsigned, three-quarter length figure of Vernon left, head facing, rev. Portobello harbour, one ship inside and five outside, 37mm (Adams PBv 34-GG; Betts –; MI –). Minor surface corrosion on obverse, otherwise extremely fine, reverse with some original colour, scarce £100-£150
