Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shilling, Gp B, mm. castle (over negro’s head on rev.), bust 2, pellet stops, rev. no stops, 5.79g/2h (Sharp B2/1; SCBI Brooker 422, same dies; N 2218; S 2784). Very fine but surfaces slightly pitted, dark tone £150-£200
