Charles I (1625-1649), Pattern Shilling (or medal), 1628, by N. Briot, in silver, crowned small square-topped shield within collar of the Thistle, all surrounded by the Garter, rev. crossed sceptre and trident, 5.08g/6h (MI I, 250/27; SCBI Brooker 1260; N 2676). Two small dents in reverse field, otherwise very fine and toned £200-£300
