An excellent album measuring 290mm x 220mm, ‘My Service Time’ in German to the exterior with the faint remains of a slightly rubbed out Reichs Armed Forces eagle and swastika. The album opens with large format photographs of an Allgemeine march past. Good uniform detail. Smaller format pictures of Allgemeine SS and Luftwaffe parading standards, further close-ups of army personnel in half tracks. SS Panzer armoured cars. Excellent images of the Waffen SS Panzer beret being worn. Motorcycle combinations. Parades in the field. Sepp Deitrich Commander of the Leibstandarte Adolf Hilter reviewing the troops indicating that the unit of the album is the LAH. Early Waffen SS VT side caps being worn.
