A French Dragoon Helmet c. 1860-1900, the white metal skull with gilt metal fittings original black horse hair crest push in cut red feather plume graduated chin scales the side retaining points are replacements, original leather sweat band; together with a theatrical sabretache featuring a rampant lion on a blue cloth ground with gold lace border, on the helmet the ‘shaving brush’ plume from the top crest missing the side feather plume worn and the leather lining fractured and part perished the skull with two minor dents (2) £200-£260
