Memorial Plaque (2) (Reginald Clowes; John Henry Overton) first in card envelope of issue, the second polished, otherwise good very fine (2) £50-£70

Reginald Clowes was born in Crewe, Cheshire, and attested for the Royal Warwickshire Regiment at Rugby, Warwickshire. He served as a Lance-Corporal with the 1st/7th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 22 March 1915, and died of wounds on 2 June 1915. He is buried in Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension, France.

Three men with the name John Henry Overton appear on the C.W.G.C. Roll of Honour for the Great War- a Private in the 1st/8th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment; a Private in the 8th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment; and a Private in the 5th Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment.
