Sidney Ernest Winter was born in Croydon, Surrey, and attested there for the Queen’s Royal West Surrey Regiment. He served with the 1st Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front as a Lance-Corporal, and was killed in action on 26 September 1917, aged 25. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.

George Cyril Stanley Mann was born in Clapham, Surrey, and attested for the East Surrey Regiment at Kingston-on-Thames. He served with the 8th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front as a Lance-Corporal, and was killed in action on 9 August 1917, aged 19. He is buried in the Tyne Cot Cemetery, Belgium.

Ernest Norwood was born in Eccles, Lancashire, and attested for the East Surrey Regiment at Bedford. He served with the 12th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 21 September 1917, aged 33. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
