Royal Observer Corps Medal, E.II.R., 2nd issue (Observer W. S. Hawkins) extremely fine £60-£80

William Sales Hawkins was born on 6 January 1921, and joined the Royal Observer Corps on 4 March 1955, having previously served as a Flight Lieutenant (Navigator) in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve from April 1941 to September 1946. He was awarded his Royal Observer Corps Medal on 8 May 1967.
