A German Third Reich Luftwaffe Double Decal Tropical Combat Helmet. A very good Model 35 Luftwaffe double decal combat helmet over painted in a colour of tropical paint from Tunisia or Southern Italy. Minor abrasions to the finish as can be seen by the images. The red and black of the national tricolour can be seen through the paint and the outline of the very early pattern short tailed Luftwaffe decal can be seen. The interior lining shell stamped ‘64’. Good colour to the leather lining, which is clearly stamped size ‘57’. The liner is of the zinc type being of the M.40 pattern with its original chinstrap clearly and heavily stamped with RB numbers, fair condition £500-£700
