George William Chilcott was the husband of Kate E. Chilcott, of Keeper’s Cottage, Bransgore, Christchurch, Hampshire. He served during the Great War with the 12th (Service) Battalion, Hampshire Regiment. Private Chilcott died of wounds in the Salonika theatre of war, 11 August 1917, and is buried in the Salonika (Lembet Road) Military Cemetery, Greece.
