Three: Private H. Topliffe, 1/10th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment, who died whilst serving in the Persian Gulf, 5 September 1916

Harry Topliffe was the son of Mrs. M. G. Topliffe of 43 Merthyr Terrace, Castlenau, Barnes, London. He served during the Great War with the Middlesex Regiment in the Asiatic theatre of war from August 1915. Topliffe died whilst serving with the 1/10th Battalion in the Persian Gulf, 5 September 1916. Private Topliffe is buried in the Baghdad (North Gate) War Cemetery, Iraq.
