The Highland Light Infantry an Officer’s Hall Marked Silver Plaid Brooch, the quoit with rim decoration and mounted with a thistle pattern disc overlaid with battle honours to Egypt 1882 and Tel-El-Kebir, the voided centre with glengarry size mount being the star of the Order of the Thistle that in turn mounted with a coiled bugle horn enclosing an HLI monogram, the first pattern Imperial Crown above, a battle honour scroll Assaye below and the Elephant, original stout pin fastener, all elements hall marked Birmingham 1900 by J. & Co., (Jennens), very fine condition £300-£400
