Pair:
Private C. Sims, Cheshire Regiment, who was killed in action on the Western Front on 28 December 1915
British War and Victory Medals (14492 Pte. C. Sims. Ches. R.) light contact marks, very fine (5) £70-£90

Tom Rowarth attested for the Cheshire Regiment, and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 25 January 1915. He subsequently transferred to the Royal Army Medical Corps.

Charles Sims was born in Reddish, Cheshire, and attested for the Cheshire Regiment at Stockport, Cheshire. He served with the 11th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 5 September 1915, and was killed in action on 28 December 1915. He is buried in Rifle House Cemetery, Belgium.
