Pair: Trooper 3rd Class L. Glen, South African Constabulary, later Corporal Shoeing Smith, Natal Field Artillery

Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State (2724 3rd. Cl: Tpr: L. Glen. S.A.C.); Natal 1906, 1 clasp, 1906 (Cpl: S.S. L. Glen, A. Battery, N.F.A.) initial contemporarily and unofficially corrected on second, nearly extremely fine (2) £220-£260

Lauchlan Glen was born in Scotland, and attested for the South African Constabulary on 15 March 1901. He served with them during the Boer War (also entitled to the date clasps South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902), and was discharged at his own request on 28 February 1903. He subsequently served with ‘A’ Battery, Natal Field Artillery.
