Waterloo 1815 (Will. Moore, Driver, Royal Horse Artillery.) fitted with replacement silver clip and ring suspension, edge bruising and contact marks, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce £2,600-£3,000

William Moore was born at Hedleigh, Suffolk, and enlisted at Derby on 15 January 1812, aged 18. He was discharged at Woolich on 31 November 1818, in consequence of a ‘pectoral complaint and placed upon the Pension List at sixpence per diem.’ He served in Major Whinyates’ Rocket Troop at Waterloo and was also present at Leipsic in 1813. Sold with copied discharge papers.
