A Great War ‘Western Front’ M.M. pair awarded to Acting Company Quartermaster Sergeant A. Glaysher, Tank Corps, late Royal Flying Corps

Military Medal, G.V.R. (309305 Sjt: A. Glaysher. 14/Tank C.); Victory Medal 1914-19 (4230 Sjt. A. Glaysher. R.F.C.) polished, therefore nearly very fine (2) £260-£300

M.M. London Gazette 23 July 1919.

Alfred Glaysher attested for the Royal Flying Corps at Horsham, Sussex, and served during the Great War on attachment to the Tank Corps on the Western Front from 24 July 1915, being advanced to Acting Company Quartermaster Sergeant. For his services during the Great War with the 14th Battalion, Tank Corps, he was awarded the Military Medal. He was admitted to hospital on 31 August 1918.
