Frederick J. Weedon was a native of London. He served during the Great War with the 3rd Battalion, Royal Fusiliers in the French theatre of war from 18 January 1915. The Battalion moved to Egypt in October 1915, and then to Salonika where they remained until they returned to France in July 1918.
