Redford Samuel Foxcroft served with the Rhodesian Contingent as part of the 1st South African Infantry Brigade, and was killed in action on the Western Front during the German Spring Offensive on 24 March 1918. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial, France.
