Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Shilling, 1643, mm. Oxford plume on obv. only, large bust, rev. Declaration in large letters, reads pro, three Oxford plumes above, date below, 5.99g/9h (Morr. D-1; SCBI Brooker 932; N 2444; S 2972). Reverse die too large for the flan, very fine and toned, rare £500-£700
