Charles I (1625-1649), Bridgnorth-on-Severn (?) mint, Groat, 1646, mm. plumelet, rev. Declaration surmounted by scrolls with plume between two plumelets above, date below, 1.78g/3h (Morr. A-1; SCBI Brooker 1133; N 2525; S 3042). Striking split and reverse slightly off-centre, otherwise better than very fine, attractively toned £500-700
