Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Halfcrown, 1644, mm. Oxford plume on obv. only, Briot horseman, Oxford plume behind, ground line below, rev. Declaration, large Oxford plume between two smaller above, date in large script figures and ox below, five pellets before legend, 14.87g/4h (Bull 613/16; Morr. C2-16; SCBI Brooker –; N 2425; S 2965A). Reverse a little double struck, otherwise about very fine, toned £300-400
