Sold with a fine collection of memorabilia, including the medal card box of issue, addressed to Captain Thrift-Lee at Barry, Glamorgan; the recipient’s pewter hip flask, inscribed, ‘187219 A. Thrift-Lee, 25.12.43’; the recipient’s cap, a R.A. cap badge; newspaper sections; various pamphlets and booklets - mostly military and two Military Government of Germany notices giving notification of the transfer of territory from British to Russian Military control.
