Transport 1899-1902, 1 clasp, S. Africa 1899-1902 (T. Field); British War and Mercantile Marine Medals (Thomas Field); Liverpool Shipwreck and Humane Society, Marine Medal, silver (Mr. T. Field, Chief Officer S.S. “Georgian” in charge of boat at rescue of the crew of S.S. “Ella”, abandoned in N. Atlantic, 6th January, 1900) this last with silver ribbon brooch in its R. C. Oldfield case of issue, the first very fine, otherwise generally good very fine (4) £400-450

Thomas Field was 3rd Officer of theS.S. Chicago, Wilsons, Furness, Leyland Line, during the South African operations.
