Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., V.R., wide suspension (Wm. Brokenshaw, Gunrs. Mate H.M.S. Caledonia 21 Yrs.) extremely fine £250-300

William Brokenshaw was born at St Brazey, Cornwall, on 10 April 1836, and entered the Royal Navy on 19 July 1853. He served in the Baltic as a Boy 1st Class on board the Royal George (Medal), and received his L.S. & G.C. medal as Gunner’s Mate in Caledonia on 25 May 1874. Sold with full research.
