Waterloo 1815 (Lieut. Lewis Heise, King’s Germ. Artillery) fitted with replacement steel clip and ring suspension, edge bruising and contact marks, therefore nearly very fine £1600-1800

Lewis Heise was commissioned as Second Lieutenant in the King’s German Artillery on 15 December 1812. He served in the campaign in Northern Germany 1813-14, and was present with the 2nd Company at the battle of Waterloo where he was slightly wounded on the 18th June. His Waterloo medal was dispatched to him at Hannover as a Captain on the half pay.
