1st Lanarkshire Artillery Volunteers Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet 1878-1901. The blue cloth skull complete with all plated fittings, frontal plate of standard Royal Arms pattern, top scroll ‘1st’, bottom, ‘Lanarkshire Artillery Vols.’ Buff leather sweatband and crimson silk lining, the plate is original to the helmet, small dent to the ball finial otherwise very good condition £300-£400
