Loyal Newcastle Association Volunteer Infantry Medal 1805, a circular engraved medal without border, 54mm, silver, the obverse featuring a female figure holding rushes, and holding a wreath above a kneeling bear-headed rifleman, the reverse inscribed in an outer circle ‘Prize Medal Presented by Lady Ridley Lady Patroness L.N.A.V.I.’, and within a wreath in the centre ‘Thos. Hall Lt. Comp.’, with ‘16. Oct 1805’ on scroll below, with loop suspension riveted through lug on rim, good very fine £120-£160
