Frederick Mitchell was born in Fakenham, Norfolk, and attested there for the 1st/6th Battalion, Norfolk Cyclist Regiment. Transferring to the Gloucestershire Regiment, he served with the 2nd/6th (Territorial) Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and died on 2 December 1917. He has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial, France.

Alfred Mitchell was born in Fakenham, Norfolk, and attested for the Norfolk Regiment at Norwich. He served with the 1st Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 21 August 1918. He is buried in Adanac Military Cemetery, France.

William Mitchell was born in Fakenham, Norfolk, and attested for the Middlesex Regiment at Norwich. He served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 27 May 1918. He has no known grave, and is commemorated on the Soissons Memorial, France.
