Rl: Warwick: Regt.); Khedive’s Sudan 1896-1908, 1 clasp, The Atbara, this loose on riband, unnamed as issued, edge bruising, nearly very fine (4) £600-£800

F. W. Wilkins attested for the Royal Warwickshire Regiment and served with the 1st Battalion during the re-conquest of the Sudan in 1898, and in South Africa during the Boer War, where he was one of the 230 men of the Regiment that served as Mounted Infantry (only the Regiment’s Mounted Infantry element qualified for the King’s South Africa Medal).
