Harry Yeates was born in Woolston, Hampshire, and attested for the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders at Glasgow. He served with the 5th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 3 May 1917. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial, France.

James Murphy was born in Aldershot, Hampshire, and attested for the Royal Dublin Fusiliers at Dublin. He served with the 1st Battalion during the Great War in the Gallipoli theatre of War, and was killed in action on the 25 April 1915, the first day of the Gallipoli Landings. He has no known grave, and is commemorated on the V Beach Cemetery Memorial, Turkey.
