Gaunt & Son Limited, late Edward Thurkle, London & Birmingham’, the fullered blade etched with the Imperial crown over an oval strap ‘Royal Irish Constabulary’ enclosing the Harp, crowned ‘GVR’ cypher and panels of scrolling foliage, wire bound fish skin grip, triple bar steel hand guard incorporating the Imperial crown over the Harp, together with its all steel scabbard, the wire bound grip partially loose, some staining and the throat screws missing from the scabbard otherwise good condition £600-800
