William Joseph Harris was born in Finsbury, London, in 1892 and attested for the Royal Field Artillery in London on 26 April 1916. He served during the Great War on the Western Front, and was twice wounded, suffering a gun shot wound to the right leg on 19 February 1917; and a gun shot wound to the right arm and left side on 19 May 1918.

William George Hunt attested for the Royal Field Artillery at Brixton on 20 April 1915 and served during the Great War on the Western Front from 25 August 1916. He was wounded by a gas shell in August 1917, and was dangerously wounded by a gun shot wound to the abdomen on 29 July 1918, being specifically mentioned by name as being wounded in the Battalion War Diary. He was discharged on account of his wounds on 17 January 1919.

Frank Wallhead was born in Boston, Lincolnshire, in 1884 and attested for the Royal Garrison Artillery on 11 December 1915. He served during the Great War on the Western Front, and was wounded by shrapnel to the left thigh on 15 June 1917, being specifically mentioned by name as being wounded in the Battalion War Diary.
