Published casualty roll gives ‘Pte. W. Thomson (attached K.O.S.B.) wounded 17.11.1951’

Compiled from The Times during the War, the roll does not list service numbers and the dates listed are invariably those of the issues of the newspaper and not the dates of the incident. In this case the action is probably the battle of Maryang-San, 4-6 November 1951.
