Ali Bahadur was born on 1 July 1889 and graduated from Veterinary College on 16 April 1914. He served during the Great War in South Persia 1918-19, and joined the Indian Army Veterinary Corps on 2 July 1918. He was advanced Jemadar on 9 February 1925 and was awarded the Order of British India 1st Class on 14 August 1945.
