William Errol was born in the Parish of Old Moukland, Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, and attested for 60th Brigade at Glasgow on 6 April 1880, aged 19, a moulder by trade. He was posted to 2nd Royal Highlanders on 1 July 1881, and was discharged on 16 August 1901. He died in Glasgow on 23 January 1941. Sold with copied discharge papers and other research.
