Wilhelm Wrba was born in Linz on 15 January 1920, and attested for the German Army on 3 November 1938. Promoted Corporal, he served with the 2 Company, 133rd Infantry Regiment during the Eastern Campaign of 1941-42, and was killed in action on 26 January 1942.

Sold together with original Commemorative Memorial Scroll, named to ‘Wilhelm Wrba’, and dated 26 January 1942; original bestowal document for the East Medal, named to ‘Gefreiten Wilhelm Wrba, 2./J.R.133’ and dated 12 September 1942; the recipient’s National Identity Paper, dated Linz, 14 November 1939; the recipient’s record of service book; and a postcard photograph of his grave.
