Edward McKinlay served in 1st/7th (Fife) Battalion, Black Watch, during the Great War on the Western Front from 2 May 1915. He appears on an undated list of sick and wounded men, which was forwarded to the Perth Infantry Record Office. He was disembodied on 25 February 1919 and entitled to 1914-15 trio.

Alfred Huggett was born in 1889 in Bermondsey, Surrey, and was employed as an assistant clerk in the civil service (Prison Department). He served overseas after 1915 as a Sergeant in the 21st Battalion London Regiment, transferring at some stage to 1st/23rd Battalion London Regiment and subsequently served in the East Surrey Regiment prior to discharge. He was entitled to the British War & Victory Medals. During the Second World War he served as Police War Constable, outside of his Higher Clerical Grade civil service position, in Ewell, Surrey. He died in 1951.
