Province of British Colombia Provincial Police L.S. & G.C. (Regt. No. 341 A. G. Carmichael Supr. F.B.) in embossed leather case of issue, extremely fine, scarce £80-120

A. G. Carmichael attested in the British Colombia Provincial Police on 6 October 1927, and was awarded his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal on 26 August 1948, by which time he had been advanced to Superintendent of the Fingerprint Bureau.

The British Colombia Provincial Police was absorbed into the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1950, and fewer than 100 of these medals were awarded.
