19th (1st Yorkshire North Riding) Regiment Officer’s Commission 1795, signed by George III and dated 21st October 1795 appointing (William) Ebhart to be Ensign in the Regiment, complete with both wafer seals and now contained in a fine quality glazed frame, very slight grub and water damage otherwise good condition £80-120

Note: Ebhart later became a Captain in the 72nd Highland Regiment (12th November 1807) and is last noted as a Major at York Hospital Chelsea in 1826.
